Chapter 20 A Bite Between Kisses
Vikram settled on the large cushioned divan in the corner of their room, the silver tray of food beside him.
Both of them were breathing heavily, their eyes locked in a silent conversation.
The sweetness of honey still lingered on their lips, a reminder of the intimacy they had just shared.
The room was filled with a comfortable silence, as they both savored the moment before diving into their meal.
With a light tug, he pulled Naina gently onto his lap, her body resting against the solid warmth of his chest. She gasped softly, her hands instinctively gripping his kurta.
“You’ll eat like this tonight,” he murmured, his voice a velvety command. “In my arms. As mine.”
"But…Sarkar…" Naina's breath hitched. Her heart thudded against her ribs, but she didn't resist.
"Shhh…" He put his finger to her lips, silencing her protest. "Trust me," he whispered, his eyes locking with hers in a promise of something more.
Naina felt a shiver run down her spine, knowing that this night would be unlike any other.
The way he looked at her—like she was something precious and sinful all at once—left no room for hesitation.
She nodded shyly, eyes lowered.
He picked up a morsel of soft roti wrapped around spicy sabzi, holding it to her lips.
She opened her mouth, took the bite, and chewed slowly.
But before she could swallow completely, his lips were on her neck, sending a jolt of electricity through her body.
She swallowed hard, feeling a rush of desire unlike anything she had ever experienced before.
When he pulled back, a satisfied smirk played on his lips.
"Delicious?" he asked huskily, though his tone made it clear he wasn’t just talking about the food.
She licked the dal off his finger, sucking off the last remnants of the spicy sabzi, meeting his gaze with a playful glint in her eye. "Absolutely," she replied, a mischievous smile tugging at the corners of her mouth.
Vikram groaned as he pulled her hair gently, his eyes dark with desire. "You have no idea what you do to me," he whispered, his breath hot against her ear.
As he fed her some rosgulla with the syrup dripping down from her lips to her chin, she felt a shiver run down her spine at his words.
"Show me," she challenged, leaning in closer to him with a daring look in her eyes.
He leaned in and sucked the syrup off her chin, his lips lingering on her skin as he whispered, "Gladly." The tension between them crackled with anticipation as they moved closer, lost in the moment.
Again and again, he fed her—each bite followed by a kiss, sometimes teasing, sometimes deep and possessive.
Naina could barely keep track of what she was eating; her senses were flooded by the warmth of his body, the spice of the food, and the sweet press of his lips.
One moment, his fingers lingered near her lips just a second too long. Next, his tongue traced a stray droplet of curry from her chin, making her whimper.
“You like it when I feed you?” he whispered against her ear, his warm breath sending shivers through her spine.
“Yes...” she admitted, breathless.
“Good,” he said. “Because I like watching you surrender. Bite by bite. Kiss by kiss.”
She shifted in his lap, overwhelmed by how desired—how worshipped—she felt, as if her body had finally learned a language her heart always knew.
Her sari had loosened, baring a sliver of skin at her waist.
Vikram noticed instantly, his fingers sliding under the silk.
“You know,” he murmured, his hand splayed across her hip, “the books talk about control. But what they don’t say... is how much power the one who surrenders truly holds.”
He kissed her again—longer this time, slower—and as he did, Naina melted completely into his touch.
Wrapped in his arms, tasting spice and sweetness on his lips, she felt like she was finally living the pages of the stories she had once only dared to read in secret.
And this time, she was the heroine of her own tale.
But she wondered—if feeding could undo her this easily, what would happen when he asked for more than just her surrender?
Would she have the strength to resist—or had she already crossed the line where surrender felt like a choice?
Devil’s Note 😈💋
Easy now.
This wasn’t temptation.
It was initiation.
Not into pleasure—but into awareness.
Into noticing how closeness rewires the body.
How attention can feel heavier than touch.
Nothing rushed tonight.
Nothing was stolen.
It was given slowly—
bite by bite,
kiss by kiss—
until choice and desire began to blur at the edges.
That’s how devotion starts to feel dangerous.
Not loud.
Not reckless.
Just familiar enough to trust.
Remember this moment.
Because once surrender becomes comfortable,
it stops feeling like a step forward—
and starts feeling like home.
Sleep well, Tender Hearts.
Some thresholds don’t announce when they’re crossed. 😈📖💋
