Her wounds were healing, but the emotional scars remained raw. Despite the peaceful surroundings, a quiet unease lingered in the air—as if something unseen waited, watching.

Rajveer kept vigil. He spoke little, but his presence filled every space she entered—quiet, protective, vigilant.

Servants came and went in hushed footsteps, carrying trays of broth and medicine, their eyes lowered in reverence and curiosity alike.
